The structure known as the Samuelson Pavilion since 1994 was originally constructed in 1922 as a women's gymnasium, From 1965 until remodeled in 1994, it was used as an art building, specifically a studio for sculpture classes. The generosity of Jack Samuelson '46 and his wife, Sally '48, made possible the reconstruction and renovation into a student center with food service, a lounge, and recreational facilities.
