10 Linear Feet (Description of contents from physical files- The William Jennings Bryan Collection is a small colleciton of books (ca. 30 volumes) by and about the former statesman, plus approximately twenty-four boxes of manuscript letters (5 linear ft.), and 9 boxes of clippings (5 linear ft.). The letters are mostly personal, letters between members of Bryan's family and himself, but there are some exchanges with notable persons as well. Most of the books are catalogues. There is a partial index of the letters. In addition, there is a tape recording of Bryan's "Cross of Gold" speech.) : Collection consists of 35 archival boxes containing personal and professional correspondence, speeches, campaign souvenirs, sketches, and photographs.. Several letters are between Bryan and prominent public figures like President Woodrow Wilson and lawyer and civic leader Samuel Untermyer; there is one letter from Bryan to his son about the Scopes trial. Nine of the boxes contain newspaper clippings about William Jennings Bryan. There are approximately 26 books, which include works about, and by William Jennings Bryan, and books from his personal library, with his bookplate There are three sound recordings of William Jennings Bryan, on tape and 78 rpm records, which have been digitized.
